What to send, and where it goes

This is a small independent site, so mail sent to hello@catcafecentral.com is read by the people who write the pages. A correction that arrives with a source is the most useful thing you can send, because it changes a page rather than just joining a queue.

What you want to sendBest routeWhat to include
A correction to a guide or explainerEmailThe page URL, the exact sentence, and the official source that contradicts it
A broken link, a typo or a layout problemEmailThe page URL and the text or section involved
A tool returning a result that looks wrongEmailThe numbers you entered (age, weight, portions), the result you got, and the result you expected
A question about your own cat's healthYour veterinary practiceWe cannot examine a cat or give dosing advice — the disclaimer explains why, and lists the signs that need a vet now
A press, permissions or partnership requestEmailWhat you are proposing, who it is for, and your deadline

How corrections are handled

Every correction is checked against the official source before anything changes, in the same way the original page was written — the process is set out under how pages here are researched. If the source agrees with you, the page is updated. If a source is ambiguous, the page says so instead of picking the more dramatic side. If a claim cannot be verified at all, the page stays as it is and we say why.

Response times

Replies are best-effort, usually within a few days. Messages that arrive with a page URL and a source go to the front. Product pitches, guest-post requests and paid-link offers are not something this site publishes, so they are usually not answered.
